Blog posts tend to get boring and dull when we rely on the same images, low quality pictures or worse, no pictures at all.

It is really easy to design a great looking blog or infographic if you have access to the right tools. I am sharing 3 simple steps to create knock-out drool-worthy visuals for your blog posts.

1. USE CANVA

Canva.com is one of my fav's for creating images and documents with ease. They have an easy to learn drag and drop interface that makes it super simple to design anything.

Canva comes chocked full of templates that you can customize with your own brand colours, images, and fonts. There is also a photo gallery available and many design elements.

3. USE EMOJI'S AND GIF'S

They are cute. They are fun. They are everywhere! Let's face it, emoji's and GIFs are part of our everyday communication and they aren't going anywhere anytime soon. 😂

When you want to insert a pop of fun and a little dose of lol to an otherwise wordy blog, why not opt for a cute emoji or gif? While you don't want to overdo it, there is nothing wrong with adding a bit of flair to your blog posts with these.

CONCLUSION

Create more engaging and eye-catching blog posts and infographics by incorporating Canva.com, a stock photography subscription, and emojis/GIFs.

2. USE A STOCK PHOTO SUBSCRIPTION

To create a gorgeous blog post or infographic, you need the high quality images that reflect your brand. If you don't have the time or experience to set-up and style photoshoots then I suggest joining Pixistock photo subscription at Pixistock.com.

They have high res images from tech mockups to lifestyle images and so much more. You will get gorgeous, feminine images that go way beyond what is available on Canva.

For Instagram or any visual social media that is causing you stress, this is your solution! Quarterly and annual members of Pixistock.com also get a done-for-you annual content calendar AND ready made quotes PLUS lightroom presets AND more than 1,100 Canva templates.

Publishing and downloading your designs are a one-click deal with Canva and I think that might be why it is so wildly popular with anyone working in the digital space.

The downside to this growing popularity is that these images, templates, and pictures tend to be used frequently online and you will see them again and again.
